Flying cars are something that always interest us here at the CarPro. So this week we bring you news that an electric flying car is getting the green light for testing from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The all-electric “Model A” flying car is built by California-based Alef Aeronautics. According to the company’s press release, the aircraft has received Special Airworthiness Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This gives the company legal permission to fly its prototype in a limited capacity under experimental status.
“We’re excited to receive this certification from the FAA. It allows us to move closer to bringing people an environmentally friendly and faster commute, saving individuals and companies hours each week. This is a one small step for planes, one giant step for cars,” said Jim Dukhovny, CEO of Alef.
