Younger Affluent Americans Are Driving Demand For Electric Vehicles

Electric vehicle (EV) ownership and purchasing intent are markedly higher among younger affluent Americans than their older counterparts, according to the Forbes Research 2025 Mass Affluent Survey, conducted between May and June. Our study surveyed individuals meeting our mass affluent criteria—$200,000 to $2 million in investable assets—and examined topics including financial planning, success motivators and spending habits.
