There are two articles I can highlight in this week’s Global Auto Mobility and Smart Mobility Today’s podcast. As a resident of Detroit Michigan for most of my life, and still a spit away from the Detroit River and my awesome Great Lakes, I have always felt a great affinity with Canada.
We were able to use Canadian coins at par well into my college life anywhere in Michigan. I could easily cross the Ambassador Bridge to fuel up when U.S prices were higher. My family has continually vacationed in Canada at the same provincial park on incredible Lake Huron for over forty years and we have family living in Hamilton, Ontario. Canada and our relationship with them is something I love and have always taken for granted.
So….. those articles: First read about the latest in the NAFTA story as Canada and Mexico work together to forge a solution — and then read the second article about how the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative is working since 2010, touching multiple states and Canada, and something we can “all” agree on!
