U.S. News and World Report released its graduate school rankings on Tuesday. Michigan Technological University ranked number 89 among other prestigious graduate engineering programs across the United States, such as University of Michigan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Purdue University.
According to the rankings, Michigan Tech is the third best graduate engineering school in Michigan. Michigan State University and University of Michigan rank ahead of Michigan Tech in the state rankings, at second and first respectively.
Michigan Tech also ranks as the fourth best undergraduate engineering school in the state, it is number 158 within the best undergraduate schools in the U.S.
