Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced a $95 million investment from automotive supplier Astemo Ltd. to establish a new regional headquarters in Wixom, Michigan.
The company will construct a new facility to accommodate the physical space needed to showcase its ability to attract top talent and enhance collaboration among business units and customers.
“Today’s investment is further proof that Michigan is open for business and on the move. Astemo is investing $95 million to build new headquarters in Wixom, creating 200 good-paying, local jobs. I’ll work with anyone to strengthen Michigan’s auto ecosystem and bring jobs and investments back home to our state. The new headquarters is expected to support at least 200 new jobs, including approximately 150 engineering positions.
