When I was in grade school, one of my friends’ family was giving away their 20 gallon aquarium, and my mom and dad said it was OK for our house to become its new home. Along with the filter, gravel and assortment of hoses, I also inherited a couple of angel fish.
I soon learned it was important to have a balanced ecosystem. This included clean water, vegetation, a variety of fish (compatible of course), and the requisite catfish to scour the bottom and help keep things clean.
Listen to this week’s Smart Mobility Today podcast or read the Thursday edition of Global Auto Mobility to find out about a clever fish that eats micro plastics. A talented team of scientists from Sichuan University in southwest China have created the 13mm robo fish that can scour our oceans and help clean up our mess.
Discover and learn.
