Today is a”city services day” in the neighborhood where I live. Thet means, streets may be cleaned, and yard waste, garbage, and recycling magically disappear. But,…. where does it go?
Many people wish-cycle hoping what they toss in the cart will magically become useful again. Others choose to thoughtlessly use the designated cart as an additional refuse bin, potentially spoiling a truck’s whole load. Others like myself, meticulously clean and separate the recyclables to increase the possibility that something productive may actually result.
