General Motors must resolve quality issues on its new electric vehicle launches and nail the pricing to win new customers and hit production targets this year amid slowing demand for EVs.
That was a key message CFO Paul Jacobson delivered Wednesday during a fireside chat at the Citi 2024 Global Industrial Tech and Mobility Conference in Miami Beach, Florida.
“We’ve had a couple of unfortunate delays in the programs and we’re making sure that we work out the final bugs because the most important thing, especially when you’re coming with a new platform like these EVs, you’ve got to deliver it with quality to the customers,” Jacobson said.
