As Hertz expands its electric vehicle fleet, the largest EV rental fleet in North America, the rental car giant is also working to promote EVs to customers.
Hertz recently hosted an EV test drive event at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) which gave drivers a chance to test drive an EV and see the newest EV models from Tesla, Chevrolet, Polestar and Kia. Hertz says additional in-person test drives are being planned at Hertz locations across the U.S. later this year.
Hertz is also running a Hertz Go Electric promotion. It runs through Labor Day and provides customers with one free rental when they rent an EV for two or more days. (You’ll have to book by and pick up through September 6th, 2023.)
