At Global Auto Mobility, we started our week with FLO in Auburn Hills, Michigan. FLO is the Canadian EV charging company whose Michigan facility opened in October 2022.
Battling the last snow day of Spring 2023, many members of the automotive press and other guests showed up for lunch, some product demonstrations and a fireside chat featuring FLO CEO Louis Tremblay and the company’s leadership team.
Tremblay announced that, as a result of his work with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the Quebec-headquartered company will produce its new Ultra DC fast charger its Auburn Hills, Michigan facility.
“As EV demand grows, EV drivers will be looking for fast charging that is safe, accessible and reliable. Today, we are thrilled to announce that the FLO Ultra charger will be produced right here in Michigan to provide the ultimate EV charging experience,” said Chris Thorson, FLO Chief Marketing Officer “Thanks to Governor Whitmer’s support, today we are one step closer to making the dream of driving an EV a reality for more Michiganders.”
