A New Hampshire auto dealership is set to become the nation’s largest operator of electric fleet vehicles.
Merchants Fleet said the dealership is working with Ford, GM and other electric automakers to source vehicles for companies across the country.
“We can work with any name-EV. We can source the vehicle from them and we can match it to any particular client. They can lease the vehicle through us or they can buy the vehicle through us if they want,” said Hari Nayar, vice president for fleet electrification and sustainability at Merchants Fleet.
Officials with the dealership spoke about the partnership Tuesday at the New Hampshire Energy Innovation Conference at the Derryfield School in Manchester.
