This battery-electric autonomous machine was tasked with helping construction workers build a solar field on a 1000-acre site. That may sound like lighter duty work than, say, a mining operation or heavy industry tasks, this machine was required to tow a 1600-pound trailer and carry 900-pound payloads.

This autonomous workhorse is based on a Honda side-by-side, which is already well suited for relatively heavy-duty work and is adept at handling rough terrain found on job sites.
