President Biden yesterday announced his nominees for two top cybersecurity posts: Chris Inglis as the first-ever Senate-confirmed White House cyber director; and Jen Easterly as director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
The pair of positions will play a key role in pulling together the administration’s response to two recent major hacking campaigns. That response includes improving relations between the private and public sector, a priority stressed by the Biden administration in the wake of the cyberattacks.
