The announcement comes after the NFL relaxed its rules around team partnerships with crypto exchanges, and could help set the stage for other teams to follow suit. 

The partnership will put QR codes on every seat at AT&T Stadium, which seats 80,000 fans. 

“We chose to partner with the Cowboys because they represent the most trusted brand in professional sports, they compete with a champion mindset, and believe in long-term partnerships,” said Blockchain.com CEO Peter Smith.

THE QR code will push fans to the Cowboys website, where they can learn more about Blockchain.com’s wallet, and fans will have the opportunity to earn exclusive fan experiences that include trips to away games and events hosted by players.

This announcement comes less than a month after the NFL relaxed its rules around crypto exchanges, and could set the stage for more partnerships between crypto platforms and NFL teams.
