Haystack Robotics, a Portland, Ore.-based startup developing robotics technology for disinfection use cases, has raised $2.7 million from an investment entity associated with healthcare IT company Agadia Systems.

Haystack’s robots roam around a room and use UV-C light to destroy germs and viruses. The company is targeting hotels, offices, fitness centers, hospitals, senior living facilities, veterinarians, and more.
